Sadguru foundation was started in 2014 with only one mission: to improve the lives of the underprivileged. To do this, we carry out different initiatives to bring about a positive change in the lives of people facing hardships. Our social organisation focuses on education, social justice, charitable giving, women's empowerment, community service, and the lives of orphans. The implementation of all of this social work is a responsibility that our volunteers have proactively taken upon. On top of this crucial support, donors like you make this work possible and help us fulfill our mission.
For over 2 crore orphans in India, life is a daily struggle. Therefore, Sadguru Foundation has taken responsibility for bringing about positive change to deal with this challenge. We started our orphanage in Mumbai with a single child. Now we have a family of wonderful children who call this place Home. The orphanage takes care of all the basic needs of the children, including nutritious meals, good clothing, a hygienic environment, and most importantly, a sense of belonging. It also has amazing caretakers who provide help with the daily needs of the children, including their schooling, homework, and health.
India has the largest population in the world, and young people make up a majority of that population. If there is one way in which this young and dynamic population can achieve their dreams and also contribute to the economy, it is Education. A strong educational foundation in childhood can provide crucial opportunities in the future. India has the largest population in the world, and young people make up a majority of that population. Old age is the period of a person's life when their health slowly declines. This is also the time when a person needs more social protection than ever. Unfortunately, the situation of elders in India is getting worse by the day. Changing family structures and cultural influences are causing elders to take care of themselves. Unable to take care of themselves at this age, many are living on their own.
But living alone and taking care of financial needs at this stage is a luxury millions of elders in india still do not have, which forces them to live in old-age homes or ngos in india. This is where sadguru foundation is trying to make a difference by providing medical support and food distribution to elders in need.
