Sonu Bind, is just 3 years and 5 months old. She was born with a serious congenital heart defect called Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF), along with Pulmonary Atresia , which means her heart cannot pump blood properly to her lungs. Her lung arteries are also underdeveloped (Hypoplastic Pulmonary Arteries), which makes her condition even more critical.
To keep her alive, doctors had earlier placed a temporary tube (called a Sano shunt) to help with blood flow. But now, she urgently needs a major open-heart surgery, TOF repair with conduit to permanently fix her heart and connect it properly to her lungs.
This life-saving surgery is planned at Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children, Mumbai, under the care of Dr. Biswa Ranjan Panda, Chief Pediatric Cardiac Surgeon. The estimated cost of the surgery is ₹4,50,000 (Four Lakh Fifty Thousand Only). Sonu’s father, Mukesh Bind, is a daily wage laborer, and her mother is a homemaker. Their annual family income is just ₹90,000, which barely covers basic living expenses. With no financial reserves, assets, or external support, they are unable to afford the high cost of this urgent surgery.
This family is truly in distress. They are helpless and heartbroken watching their young daughter suffer, knowing they cannot afford the treatment that could save her. On their behalf, we sincerely plead for your help. Your support could give Sonu the chance to grow up, to go to school, to play, to simply breathe without pain, things every child should have, but she’s fighting for
Please come forward and support in any way you can. Every rupee matters, as it will be directly used to pay for the surgery charges (TOF repair with conduit) amounting to ₹2,00,000, pediatric ICU stay and monitoring estimated at ₹80,000, medicines and consumables costing ₹70,000, post-operative care and investigations requiring ₹50,000, and blood products along with an emergency management buffer set aside at ₹50,000. The total estimated cost for the treatment is ₹4,50,000.
Your contribution will help Sonu receive the surgery she urgently needs. And as a registered NGO, all donations made towards her treatment are eligible for a 50% tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
This isn't just a medical expense, it’s a lifeline. For her parents, who earn just ₹90,000 a year, your help is their only hope to save their daughter.
Please help. Donate now and save Sonu’s life.
