Diagnosed in her early childhood, this devastating blood disorder has turned her young life upside down. Kartiki's doctors at the NH SRCC Children’s Hospital have recommended an urgent Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT).Fortunately, she has a complete HLA-matched family donor who can be a stem cell donor. The total cost of treatment, including pre-BMT evaluations, stem cell collection, transplant procedure and follow-up care, amounts to ₹15,00,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Lakhs Only).

Thalassemia major is a severe genetic blood disorder that affects the body's ability to produce healthy red blood cells. For Kartiki, this means frequent hospital visits, regular blood transfusions and a constant struggle with fatigue and other complications.
